Ode to a Snowflake

Oh Snowflake there you are floating in the sky, down upon the world.
Yet Snowflake you fall not on the ground, but in my eye.
Oh why Snowflake have you hit me in the eye?
Have I wronged you Snowflake?
Are you mad at me for shoveling up your friends?
Why is it Snowflake that when I go to hold in my open hand, you melt away?
Are we never to be friends Snowflake?
Are we to different?
